Dear Constituent,

Thank you for contacting me regarding the Industrial Hemp Farming Act.

This legislation would exclude industrial hemp from the definition of marihuana and would grant the state regulating the growth and processing of industrial hemp exclusive authority to determine whether any plant meets the concentration limit.

Should the Industrial Hemp Farming Act come before the Senate, I will certainly keep your views in mind.

Thank you again for contacting me.

Sincerely,

Sherrod Brown
United States Senator
